By default, if the 42nd Conference would take place in 2021, the 43rd Conference would take place in 2024 (see Article XII.1 of the WOSM Constitution). The 42nd Conference could consider shortening the subsequent 2021-2024 triennium if a Draft Resolution to this extent is proposed for decision. Such a Draft Resolution would require a two-thirds majority to be carried, given the principle of triennia is embedded in the WOSM Constitution.
