The eVoting system follows protocols set out in the World Scouting's Constitution and Rules of Procedure, including clear stipulations that require votes cast to remain secret - even when viewed on the eVoting system. The eVoting system does not capture any data for secret votes relating to specific users. This also means that delegation will be unable to see how they cast their vote after their vote has been confirmed; all they can see is that they have voted.
A third party organisation is being contracted to conduct further tests that will ensure the credibility of the eVoting system, including secret votes and the system's database. We very much welcome any technical questions that you may have on this matter. If you wish to learn more, please contact us by emailing vote@scout.org.
